Chefs Move to Schools
All-Clad was honored to work with the office of the First Lady in her Let’s Move initiative. 
Teaching Kids about Healthy Eating
All-Clad and several partners provided over 1000 sets of cookware, safe induction cooking hobs, small electrics, bowls, knives and tools for the Chefs Move to School program, the brainchild of White House Chef Assistant Chef and policy advisor to the First Lady, Sam Kass. With All-Clad cookware and other components in the kits, along with the guidance of the Partnership for a Healthier America, chefs around the country have been equipped to work in schools and after school programs to teach kids, their parents and teachers the fundamentals of healthy eating.​ ​​
​Chefs Move to Schools

Schools that sign up to partner with chefs receive menu ideas, culinary training and help teaching students about the importance of healthy meals. Partnering with chefs also helps schools build excitement about their school meals programs with students and parents.  


Chefs who volunteer are able to teach, inspire and motivate children to change their eating habits and play a role in beginning to turn the tide on the obesity epidemic.
