1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Place the flour, ground almonds, brown sugar, 3/4 tsp cinnamon and butter in the bowl fitted with the kneading/crushing blade. Mix at speed 8 for 1 minute 30 seconds or until pastry forms little balls.
3. Peel and dice the apples. Mix with remaining ingredients and place in the prepared dish. Crumble the almond mixture over the apples.
4. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until top is golden brown and apples are tender. Serve warm or cold.
