Cheese Crackers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Swiss/Jarlsberg cheese, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 6 Tbsp soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

Preparation

1. Place the cheese in the bowl fitted with the kneading/crushing blade. Mix at speed 12 for 30 seconds. Add all remaining ingredients and mix at speed 10 for 50 seconds. Form a roll 8 inches long and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 1 hour.

2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

3. Cut the roll into 1/4-inch thick slices. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

4. Bake for 20 minutes or until edges start to brown. Serve as an appetizer with a cheese and fruit tray.
