Scallops with Leeks

Main Course 

Keep the scallop shell to make a sauce. Replace the vermouth with whipping cream and a pinch of curry powder.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium leek (white part only)
  • 1/2 lb scallops
  • 1/4 cup vermouth
  • pepper, to taste

Preparation

1. Clean the leek and slice very fine or, even better, thin.

2. Pour 3 cups of water into the bowl. Place the leeks in the steam basket and lay scallops over top of the leeks. Place the basket in the Prep&Cook bowl and cover with vermouth. Launch the P1 steam program for 15 minutes.

3. At the end of cooking, season with pepper and serve immediately.
