For a different flavor, replace the cinnamon with vanilla. If you would like a smoother purée, mix for an additional 20 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. Replace half of the apples with pears.
1. Peel the apples, cut into quarters and core.
2. Place all ingredients in the bowl fitted with the ultrablade knife. Cook at speed 3 at 210°F for 20 minutes.
3. At the end of cooking, mix at speed 10 for 40 seconds.
