You can use 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs or small chicken breast fillets in this recipe. Reduce cooking time to 25 minutes.

  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 4 large chicken thighs
  • 3/4 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt, to taste


1. Peel the onion and garlic. Seed and quarter the bell pepper.

2. Place the garlic, onion and bell pepper into the bowl fitted with the ultrablade knife. Mince at speed 11 for 10 seconds and scrape down the sides of the bowl.

3. Replace the ultrablade knife with the mixer. Add olive oil and white wine. Launch the P1 simmer program at 270°F for 8 minutes.

4. At the end of cooking, add chicken, tomatoes and broth. Season with salt. Launch the P2 simmer program at 200°F for 45 minutes
