Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade) - See our Pizza Dough Recipe.
  • 1 cup tomato pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

  1. Heat your All-Clad Rotating Stone Pizza Oven to 750°F. Allow at least 15 minutes for the stone to reach full temperature.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface. Stretch the dough into a 10–12" circle, leaving a slightly thicker edge for the crust. Transfer to your floured peel.
  3. Use the pastry brush to coat the crust edges lightly with olive oil.
  4. With the same brush, spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Add the mozzarella evenly, then sprinkle Parmesan over the top.
  6. Slide the pizza into the oven and turn on the spinning stone. Cook for 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
  7. The final result should be a blistered golden crust and bubbling, lightly browned cheese.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with torn basil, flake sea salt, and a drizzle of olive oil. Slice with a pizza cutter and serve immediately.

Pro Tip

Mozzarella is the classic choice, but mixing cheeses takes your pizza to the next level. Try blending mozzarella with provolone for extra stretch, Parmesan for sharpness, or fontina for a creamy melt. A touch of gorgonzola can add bold character.
