What is the difference between All-Clad D3® Stainless Everyday and D3® Stainless?
The D3® Stainless Everyday Collection offers the same tri-ply bonded construction as the D3® Stainless line but with an updated, more comfortable handle design for easier everyday use, and some pieces have interchangeable lids. Plus, the skillets within the D3® Everyday Collection have a larger surface area than the traditional fry pan shape in D3® Stainless. It is exclusively available at All-Clad.com.
What does D3 mean in All-Clad D3® Stainless Everyday?
“D3” refers to All-Clad’s three-layer fully bonded construction: an 18/10 stainless-steel interior for flavor-neutral cooking, an aluminum core for fast and even heat distribution, and a polished stainless exterior for strength and induction compatibility.
How is D3® Stainless Everyday different from D5® Stainless or Copper Core?
D3® Stainless Everyday is lighter and more affordable than D5® Stainless or Copper Core while still delivering professional-level performance. D5 adds two extra layers for heat control, and Copper Core uses copper for maximum responsiveness. D3® Stainless Everyday balances performance and value for every home cook.
Are D3® Stainless Everyday handles different from D3® Stainless?
The D3® Stainless Everyday line features redesigned comfort grip handles that are more ergonomic and stable during use. The design is different from the existing D3® Stainless handle style.
