What Are Factory Seconds?
Factory Seconds are products that may have minor cosmetic imperfections from the manufacturing process or handling. These imperfections do not affect the cookware’s performance, functionality, or quality.
A Factory Second may have:
- Minor scratches or cosmetic marks
- Small dents or other cosmetic imperfections
- Missing or incomplete engraving on the bottom of the cookware
-
There may be variances in lid types and might not include the All-Clad stamp
These products are fully functional and perform as intended. The imperfections are cosmetic only.
The images to the right show examples of possible imperfections you may find on a Factory Second product.

What Is Packaging Damage?
Products labeled “Packaging Damage” have no known cosmetic or functional imperfections to the cookware itself.
The product is in its intended condition, but the original packaging may be slightly damaged and is not suitable for retail sale.
The packaging may show signs of damage, but the cookware itself is unaffected.
