- Never immerse the grill body or cord in water or any other liquid
- Avoid using metal scrubbers, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners; use only nylon or non-metallic pads
- Make sure the grill is clean and dry before storage
- Unplug the grill and allow it to cool for at least two hours before cleaning
- Remove the cooking plates and drip tray; both can be cleaned in the dishwasher or with hot soapy water and rinsed thoroughly
- Clean the lid with a sponge rinsed in hot water and dry with a soft cloth
