Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  3. Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, and eggs. Whisk everything together using the All-Clad Stainless Steel Whisk until well combined.
  4. When the waffle machine beeps and the ready light is green, ladle the batter into the waffle maker.
  5. Cook until the waffle maker beeps a second time, and the waffles are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Repeat with the remaining batter
  7. Serve immediately, topped with your favorite Southern comfort food or with any other desired toppings.
