Ingredients
- 4 cups leftover mac and cheese, refrigerated
- 2 cups shredded cheese
Directions
- Preheat the All-Clad Belgian Waffle Maker.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese onto the preheated waffle maker.
- When the waffle machine beeps and the ready light is green, scoop about ½ cup of leftover mac and cheese into the waffle maker for each waffle.
- Sprinkle more shredded cheese on top.
- Cook until the waffle maker beeps a second time, and the waffles are golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully remove the waffles using nonstick tongs.
- Repeat with the remaining mac and cheese.
- Serve immediately.
Pro Tip:
If making the mac and cheese from scratch, allow extra time for it to firm up in the refrigerator. This will help it hold its shape better when cooked in the waffle maker. This recipe works with leftover boxed mac and cheese as well.
