Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups buttermilk
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat the All-Clad Belgian Waffle Maker.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, and stir until just combined. The batter should be slightly lumpy
- When the waffle machine beeps and the ready light is green, ladle the batter into the waffle maker.
- Cook until the waffle maker beeps a second time, and the waffles are golden brown and crispy.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve immediately with a dollop of whipped cream and maple syrup or any other desired toppings.
Pro Tip:
To make this recipe gluten-free, simply replace the all-purpose flour with oat flour.
